The Yacht
DUN DIGGIN is a beautiful vessel as the photographs will show, and it has been carefully restored to the point where the new owner needs to be involved. There are decisions going forward regarding the final finishes. The present owner believes it is time to allow some input from the new owner.
Everything has been carefully attended to from stem to stern; from the bow thrusters; to the stabilizers; to the propellers and shafts. All the thru-hulls are replaced; and, upgrades such as: underwater lights, have been added.
The intention was to recommission this vessel for another generation of owner.

Sea Trial
Dun Diggin sea Trial
Last December 28, 2021, was a successful sea trial on Dun Diggin at Santa Monica Bay, CA.
The conditions on Santa Monica Bay were a little windy, with a steady flow of five-foot average waves coming in from offshore.
Once outside the breakwater, we headed directly into the seas.
Dun Diggin handled it very well and the stabilizers proved priceless especially
when we turned around to head back to port. Returning we reached 18.5 knots, which is exciting on a 93' yacht.
The main test was for the starboard transmission.
Prior to the sea trial on that day, we successfully ran all (3) generators, the main engines, air compressors for the air handling shifting, and hydraulics for steering and stabilizers.
